Purpose
To achieve a zero balance of cut and fill balance between the existing ground and a Vertical Alignment.
Operation
Pick the datum line and pick the 2D Polyline representing the existing ground.
Pick the 2D Polyline representing the alignment.
The vertical shift for a zero cut and fill balance is calculated, Return to shift the Vertical Alignment vertically by this amount. Note that the alignment 2D Polyline moves up or down and is not connected at each end so minor re-drafting may be required.
