Purpose
To move or copy any entity in a selection set up or down by a specified amount with respect to any vertical magnification (CAD commands do not respect this). One use is to represent the existing ground after top soil removal with a shift value of -0.35 for example.
Operation
Pick the datum line.
Return to accept default of copy or enter "M" to move.
Enter the shift value and select entities.
