Folders & shortcuts

As part of the installation a "Start in" folder must be defined. To help with file/project management each project should have its own folder and while current each project should have its own shortcut on the desktop. To make a new KTF 8 shortcut on the desktop copy and paste an existing KTF 8 shortcut and assuming the folder exists amend the "Start in:" line. By starting KTF from this shortcut BricsCAD or AutoCAD is working in the "right folder" so that there should be no need to browse for drawing, section and ground model files etc. as these will by default be saved in the current/project folder. A typical desktop may have ten or more KTF 8 shortcuts for current projects. Shortcut colour themes vary for different KTF versions.
