Purpose

To apply appropriate curve fitting to contours.

 

Operation

Default settings of Cubic Spline with Segments value of 8 are more suitable than the alternative methods. If the "Select only KTF contours" setting is on all other 2D Polylines in the selection set will be ignored. Note that within menu item Ground Modelling, Contours there is an option to add a vertex within each line element in the Polylines so that the curve fitting "distortion effect" will be reduced.
