Purpose
To enquire and set K values using the formula :-
Vertical curve length = K value X difference in gradient (%)
Curve length is horizontal, input and output values are displayed on the dialogue (gradients are %). The drawing entities do not change.
Operation
There are two options :-
1.Enter "A" to report the K value of an existing Arc, pick the datum line and pick the Arc and the values are displayed on the dialogue.
2.Enter "L" to work from two Lines, pick the datum line and pick LH and RH Lines (they must both have a direction of left to right), enter "K" to enter the K value to calculate the curve length or enter "L" to enter curve length to calculate the K value.
